At De Lune Corp, an 8(a) certified small business, we are deeply committed to community service and the pressing issue of food insecurity. Our recent endeavor during Thanksgiving in collaboration with The Journey Church in Springfield, VA as a part of our annual 'Sharing the Love Initiative', was a testament to this commitment.
Serving over 550 families with food boxes, we witnessed firsthand the immense need for concerted efforts in addressing food poverty
Each family received a wholesome combination of vegetables like cabbages, potatoes, carrots, onions, and apples, along with buns, loaves of bread, chicken drumsticks, eggs, and sausages. De Lune Corp contributed food towards this cause , underlining our dedication to making a meaningful difference in our community. The warm reception of these boxes by the families was heartening and indicative of the impact such initiatives can have.
Yet, the need for help is vast, extending far beyond this single community. This reality is echoed nationwide, in many communities grappling with similar challenges.
Together, we can turn the tide against food poverty and make a lasting impact in communities nationwide.
