De Lune Corp announced that it is now GSA approved, providing it with a long-term contract with the General Services Administration’s (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Program and making it easier for federal agencies to purchase from it. Its GSA MAS contract number is 47QTCA22D008P.
The MAS program supports GSA’s federal marketplace strategy, to modernize and streamline the buying and selling process for U.S. government agencies and private businesses. It saves money for federal, state and local government buyers by providing access to over 12 million products and services at discount pricing while promoting achievement of socioeconomic, environmental and small business goals. For private industry, the program provides a direct link to government contractors. It also saves time for both stakeholders by eliminating due diligence and price, delivery and other negotiations and offering a simplified process. Further, it allows for a transparent buying and selling experience.
The application process to be awarded a GSA Schedule contract, which can extend for up to 20 years, is a rigorous one with vendors expected to prove sustainable financial health and past execution that meet the high standards of the General Services Administration.
“Receiving a GSA Schedule Contract legitimizes De Lune Corp as a trusted source for federal agencies to purchase from,” said De Lune Corp President Gaddafi Ismail. He added, “The GSA contract also opens a new, more niche and streamlined avenue for us to sell products and services directly to the U.S. government in a mutually beneficial manner. We are delighted to have been approved and join a cohort of over 12,000 contractors including Fortune 500 companies. We look forward to maximizing our efforts to serve the U.S. government over the coming years.”
GSA Schedule contracts are indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts so there is no limit set on how much can be sold to the government or for how long. They are one of the most popular government contract vehicles with approximately $36 billion procured through the program each year. GSA Schedule holders are also provided access to exclusive GSA systems such as GSA eBUy and GSA Advantage which are used heavily by federal buyers. According to gsamagazine.com, the average small business with a GSA Schedule experienced a 7.9% increase in revenue with those with 8(a) certification experiencing over 20% growth.
An 8(a) and ISO-certified multi-tier organization with diverse interests including IT, Agribusiness, Healthcare Administration services and Energy solutions, De Lune Corp has obtained GSA certifications in two of the 12 large categories. These include Category F (Information Technology) under SINS 54151S for Information Technology Professional Services and Category B (Facilities) under SINS 311423 for Non Perishable Foods. The GSA IT Schedule is the largest, by sales, within the program.

About GSA MAS
The Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) program includes the Multiple Award Schedule (MAS). The Government Services Administration (GSA), a self-funded agency, issues long-term government contracts under the MAS that allow federal, state and local government buyers to purchase products, services and other solutions from commercial entities at pre-established prices, delivery timelines, warranties, etc. The GSA Schedule supports 12 large categories, ranging from office management and facilities to professional services and travel. Each category is further divided into subcategories which are assigned SINs (special item numbers). SINS are aligned with NAICS (North American industry classification system) codes.
